aboutjon

So I have to sit and write a biography so all from near and far have an idea of where I come from, what I stand for, and whether I can write in complete sentences. Usually these things begin with a quote from the artist, interview style. Something like, “My life changed the moment I realized dying wasn’t an option” or “there was only one way to go and that was up”… either way we all have those moments. We all have moments of hating our job, our boss, our lives - but making the decision to change is pretty challenging.

But then again it’s always been a challenge. Choosing what to live for is sometimes challenging but can become clear with experience and time. It can be family, friends, or a cause. But choosing a message to represent through music is a choice I made for this record.

The last few years have seen hardships, job loss, economic and natural disasters, and Justin Bieber. But they’ve also seen children smile, success by underdogs, and hope for the future. So I’m writing for those who never give up. Those who dream. And living a simpler life. Make mistakes loud. Walk away from those who don’t dream. Listen and learn, and try to live lean. And the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup.

events

Looking for entertainment that is a little different and someone who is flexible?
Jon knows how entertainment can easily make or break an event. He’ll work with your budget to provide the perfect live background music for cocktail hours, receptions, meetings and special events.

Are entertainers quoting you prices that are outside of your (or your clients’) budget?
Most event ensembles charge at least $100 per musician (per hour), plus a booking fee, and have a minimum of three musicians – costing you at least $400 for just one hour of entertainment. As a one-man show, Jon is more affordable than most musical groups or professional DJs. Contact him here to find out how he can make your event memorable!
